Updated for 2019-2020! An absolute essential element to my class’s pass rates are the thematic and civilization timelines for every period of AP US History. The content is divided into FRQ themes and lists events, people, and ideas that fit each category in their respective time period.

My students credit these sheets with allowing them to know WHEN certain events happened, when pertaining to each theme, and greatly enhanced their ability to accurately provide examples and answers for the written and multiple choice questions.
